magical madness // coeur

I have come to embrace the madness of baking multiple types of desserts each consisting of several components, all to be completed within the same time frame. There was plenty of scheduling and midnight oven humming, boxes to fold and dishes to wash. The magic of seeing it all come together piece by piece eventually surpassed the realisation that repeated baking marathons such as this could put my sanity at stake. Even the weather agreed that the fruits of my labour deserved some time in the spotlight. Sunlight was pouring through my apartment windows on the afternoon that I had to tuck the desserts into their cream colored boxes and say goodbye to them with the final pull of a sheer fluffy ribbon.

I tried my best to capture the desserts in their finished glory but the moments in between assembly are perhaps my favorite to look at. Watch them come to life through my IGTV here.
